No one realises just how much work has gone into fine tuning their art. Hours and hours of practising for many years. The costs of keeping any instrument in good working order and the transport to be able to bring the equipment required to the venue is expensive. Strings, sticks, skins, leads & picks all need replacing on a regular basis. The musician has given up an entire evening to perform at any venue when you consider travelling, setting up, playing, then breaking down and travelling back home. Most rarely get back home before midnight!
